Wow. This is super interesting. I didn’t know that a Celtic culture existed alongside the Hallstatt culture or that the Celts occasionally wrote in other scripts.
I am also very very excited to hear about this early inscription to Lugus in triple form as the ‘Lugoves’ and his connection with oaths.
Yep, interesting stuff, although I’m not sure how reliable the association of Lugus with the triple face carvings is. Could be that Lugoves is a reference to many
‘heroes’ and not triplism.
